Just checking in…

I am still here trying to keep my lunch down! Work has been very busy, which is a nice distraction. I get home and zone out on the couch until bed time (sorry for the lack of comments – I am reading everyone’s blogs though).

I am trying to stay sane until my next US on Monday. I hit 10 week tomorrow so I get to stop taking the estrace and reduce my progesterone to once a day. I really hope the reduction in extra hormones helps with my morning sickness. I do have a script for anti nausea that I take sparingly during the week to make it though work. It has a nasty side effect of constipation which is no bueno.

I have a Doppler but I think we are going to try to not use it. I might have to break it out this weekend for peace of mind!

  1. Glad things are moving along. I have a doppler at home too and I don't use it much because I think I'd drive myself crazy. Thinking of you!

  2. There's nothing wrong with vegging out on the couch when you get home! Glad things are still good (aside from the sickness). Good luck at your appt next Monday!

  3. So sorry about the morning sickness...here's hoping backing off on the meds will help. Happy to hear things are progressing nicely. Keep us posted and good luck with your next appointment....

As always, keeping you in my thoughts and prayers...

  5. I go back and forth on whether I would have wanted a home doppler. Everyone is different, but for me I think it would cause more worry if I didn't know how to use it properly. Sorry you are still struggling with morning sickness...sucks the meds help one thing only to make another thing worse. Can't wait to hear about your U/S!

  7. I hope you get to feeling better soon! I had m/s sooo bad and it is just awful. You should consider Phinagrin, it makes you sleepy, but you can avoid the constipation.
I can't wait to see your u/s pics!!!!

  8. Have you thought about eating some figs? It helps with constipation.

I hope that the nausea will soon subside. Can't wait to hear about your next ultrasound. Good Luck!

  9. Have you used the doppler yet? I just ordered one over the weekend and I am so nervous to try it.
