Month One

This first month has flown by and I am loving every second of it. We are doing great and Miss Charlotte is now weighing in over 11lbs. Needless to say, she really likes her breast milk! Last night she blessed me with a four hour stretch of sleep. She usuall sleeps for two to three hours. I have her napping in her crib these days so I actually get a moment or two to myself. I hope to catch up on blogging and commenting! Here are a few photos. I promise to start writing more...

She looks so small in her crib!  I have not been able to put her in it at night yet...not
ready for her to be that far away form me!

The little stinker wouldn't behave for her one month photo shoot!

She loves bath time!!!

The puppies are always with her and love licking her feet!

I have trouble putting her down!

  7. She's gorgeous! I can't blame you for not wanting to put her down. :) Happy one month! (Also, we have the same play gym, and our dog lays down next to K under it just like that. It's adorable!)

  8. Such an adorable little lady! Happy she's eating and growing well =) I held my daughter SO much while she slept when she was little. My ped told me there's no such thing as spoiling a child under 6 months...which I was relieved to hear. She looks so tiny in her crib *awww*

  9. Don't let anybody tell you you are spoiling her blablablah. Keep her close to you and enjoy EVERY SECOND of it, both of you will keep the memory of those moments in your heart FOREVER! Tons of love from Europe.

  10. She is absolutely gorgeous, and I could not be more happy for you! I agree with Tuli, you cannot spoil her!

Also, I kept my daughter in the bassinet beside my bed until she was almost four months. Loved hearing her little sighs and coos in the middle of the night... So worth the peace of mind.

    xoxo mama!

  11. Congratulations!!! She is absolutely gorgeous! It sounds like all of you are doing great. She may start to sleep at least slightly longer stretches during the night soon - hang in there.

Miss A has slept in her crib from night one, but only because it's 2 feet from my side of the bed. DH keeps saying things about moving her to her own room, but I just don't see it happening any time soon... :-)

Her crib bedding set is beautiful. We don't have that set, but we do have one of the blankets from it (the 30 x 40 one) and I love it. So pretty!

  15. I'm so glad I came across your page!
I've added you to my list of blogs to follow.

We are expecting our first (a little girl named Savannah Jean) in December after a 4 year battle.

I'm pumped and nervous and getting wobbly. :-)

  16. She looks SO tiny in her crib. Gosh, it's so hard to believe my little guy was that small once.

I love the rolls on her arms. Ah, just so adorable!

  17. Im not a regular follower of your blog but i see it every so often. Your daughter is so beautiful. Congratulayions! I did notice you have a crib bumper. I work at a state health department and our injury program does not recommend having those. They really do pose a suffocation risk for babies. Stores do a disservice selling them. Congratulations again.
