Is it really August?

Umm…I am in shock that Charlotte is turning one next week. They weren’t lying when they said that time flies the first year. I have been busy planning her first birthday party. Here’s a sneak peek…
We are going on our first family vacation in September with my parents. C’s first trip to the beach! We are heading over to San Diego which is a 6 hour drive. Any tips for a long car ride with a one year old or tips on what I need at the beach??? Then in October we are flying to Florida for C’s Great Grandpas 100th birthday. Wondering how a 5 hour plan flight will be with her. I’m excited for the adventures but a little nervous to travel with her. Any helpful hints would be great!
She is now walking…soon to be running everywhere. She is very proud of herself and barley lets me hold her. She is a very busy girl always on a mission - usually it’s to play in the dog bowls. She loves moving their food from one bowl to the next. (She may or may not lick each piece of food as she does this)
Hope everyone is well. I will post first birthday photos soon! Cheers!

Hello

I know that I can’t just start writing on here like I haven’t missed the last 8 months of blogging and I’m not even sure if anyone still reads this blog but…. I want to leave this space here so hopefully my story can help someone else. I still follow all the blogs on my reader. I am not the best commenter but I am nosy enough to read! Please email me if you want to connect in Facebook or Instagram.

Things with us are great. Charlotte is keeping us very busy. She is a very determined 10 month old. I am busy planning her first birthday party. We are going with a hot pink/ Zebra theme! I can’t wait. I am still trying to figure out how to balance working full time and spending as much time with her. I am very lucky because my sister watches her for me. C gets lots of love and attention. Right now my sister’s four kids (ages 12 to 21) are home on summer break and spoil C. I don’t think they ever put her down!

I’m starting to come to terms that she will probably be our one and only baby. Since having her I have not been on bc in hopes of the miracle BFP but nothing yet. We have two frosties that we are considering using but they are not the best quality. Hubs and I have decided to not do IVF again so…I guess I will patiently wait for my miracle while enjoying running after C! I have saved all of her baby clothes and gear in hopes to get to use it again. It takes up half of our guest room. Not sure how long I should save the stuff. I guess for a year and after that re-evaluate.

Happy Monday and I will try to post more than once every six months!

Hey there!  I have missed you guys.  I am still reading just not posting.  Charlotte is doing great and she keeps us laughing.  I love her little personality.  She is so busy trying to figure out the world.  I am trying to post pictures from the past couple months but Blogger is not liking me.  I will keep trying!  Not sure how much I will be posting on here so hit me up with an email and we can connect on FB or instgram.

Her Nursery

I just wanted to share a few photos of Charlotte's room.  We love how it turned out!  The glider and ottomen were shipped to us incorrectly.  I am still waiting on the correct one to make it to our house.  The one I ordered is a darker fabric and it reclines.  This chair will become a store model hence the towels covering it.  I still need to hang a couple things on the walls.  I have two frames that I need to get pictures in and a couple wall hangings.

Month One

This first month has flown by and I am loving every second of it. We are doing great and Miss Charlotte is now weighing in over 11lbs. Needless to say, she really likes her breast milk! Last night she blessed me with a four hour stretch of sleep. She usuall sleeps for two to three hours. I have her napping in her crib these days so I actually get a moment or two to myself. I hope to catch up on blogging and commenting! Here are a few photos. I promise to start writing more...

She looks so small in her crib!  I have not been able to put her in it at night yet...not
ready for her to be that far away form me!

The little stinker wouldn't behave for her one month photo shoot!

She loves bath time!!!

The puppies are always with her and love licking her feet!

I have trouble putting her down!
