Redecorating…

We finally broke down and bought a new sectional and TV for our great room. Our old couches were super comfy but looked a bit sloppy and our old TV was having issues of turning off every 10 minutes until it warmed up and it was really annoying.

The room is a long way from being finished. We need a new coffee and sofa table and two chairs for the opposite wall. I am also going to hang some curtains in the room. Good thing the furniture store had a deal running that gave us an extra $600 in store credit to cover the additional furniture needed.

Tell me what you think (sorry for the crappy cell phone picture)!

  2. I'm so jealous....I want to get a new couch or at least get the one we have recovered....and get a chair or 2...we have very little sitting options available...The hubs has put the kibosh on any new furniture for a while...it's killing me!!!

Your room looks fabulous and comfy....still super jealous...

  8. *sigh*. It's soo obvious that you don't live in NYC bc of the huge amount of space that you have! So jealous. I'm all about huge, comfy sectionals! Looks great.

  9. I was blog surfing and came across your blog. The title called out to me because my DH and I are also DINKs not by choice.

First of all, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how devastating that has been, but it sounds like you're handling it with a lot of strength and grace. I've had several first trimester losses, but I know the further along you get, the more painful it is if there's a loss.

Also, I hope this isn't too forward, but I was reading through your blog and noticed that we live in the same area. I'm not sure which peri you're meeting with, but I just wanted to offer up a recommendation for Sco.ttsdale Per.inatology As.sociates if you want to consider a couple of places.

An IF friend of mine referred me there, because she was very happy with them. (I'd met with one of the very large peri practices in the area and wasn't thrilled.) I'm almost 13 weeks w/pg #7 (this is the farthest I've ever gotten), and it's been an amazing experience so far. Very different from any other doctor's office I've ever been to. I had a lot of bleeding for several weeks early on, and they've monitored me very closely. They've been super understanding about how nervous I am and my need for lots of reassurance (i.e. twice-a-week ultrasounds).

Anyway, I hope you are able to enjoy your
vacation next month and that your next FET brings another BFP.
