Another year older

I am turning 35 on Saturday and I am not quite sure what I think about that. I think since I got my BFP it is making this birthday a little easier to handle. I think being 35 and having a baby puts me in to the old lady high risk category. O’well – hopefully it means more scans and US along the way!

A little update on me…no more spotting since Sunday! I have been taking it pretty easy this week. I have to wait another week until my US. Holding my breath until then!

  1. I am very happy to hear the spotting has stopped. When I was pregnant with Ella, I had spotting and it scared the poop out of me. But, all turned out well. Spotting during first trimester is normal, but that doesn't make it any less scary. Oh, and happy early birthday!!! :)

  9. Happy Birthday!! I'm glad the spotting has stopped...I spotted from 6.5 to 9.5 weeks and it was SOOO scary. My RE says about half of all his patients spot and most of them go on to have healthy pregnancies. I can't wait for your ultrasound!

  10. What a wonderful birthday present for you! I'm going to be 36...unfortunately I'm not as lucky as you...but I have until April to change that...here's hoping...Make sure you make a wish when you blow out your candles.

  12. Happy Birthday!! If being "an old lady" means more scan and U/S then that sounds just dandy to me!! I also had some early spotting - around the 6 week mark and all turned out well!

  16. congrats on your bfp!! glad there's no more spotting. what an awesome birthday present this is....no matter what your age! :)

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I DO already hate Tony H...I've done several of the workouts off and on, I have just never stuck with them. My last run of it was about 2 1/2 weeks only 2-3 days a week leading up to IVF #1.
