I started the weekend on a high from my beta results but that quickly came to an end on Sunday when I started spotting. I took it easy yesterday (didn’t move my ass from the couch) and the spotting has stopped (I think). I have a call into the RE but I doubt they will be able to tell me anything this early in the game. So here I am, holding my breath until my US on the 24th…

I know easier said than done, but just try to relax. Spotting very early on is normal, especially if you are using any type of suppositories. Praying for everything to be fine from here on out for you!
ReplyDeleteCrossing my fingers that its no big deal and you and baby are fine
ReplyDeleteUgh, I know this is so hard. I started spotting (more than spotting, really) the day after my second beta, and all was well. Hoping for the same results for you!
ReplyDeleteBoo. BUT I am sure everything is a-ok. Sending positive vibes your way. Take good care. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI know the waiting stinks and the spotting is terribly scary. Just try to keep reminding yourself that spotting can be completely normal in early pregnancy. AND, if you are using suppositories, spotting is even more common. (I had full blown bleeding and was sure I had lost the baby at 5 1/2 weeks).
ReplyDeleteI know there isn't much you can do other than wait for the ultrasound. If it would help with your nerves, you could always beg the RE for one more Beta to make sure the numbers are still rising. Hang in there.
I will not say to not freak out, because that is like telling a kid to not eat the last piece of chocolate. If it is any consultation I spotted twice around the same time after postive betas from my IVF cycle. I was told to take a shot of progesterone and rest. It worked and after 6 weeks or so I never spotted again. It really is common to spot during early pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteI will keep you in my prayers.
Holding my breath with you. Please let us know what they say. I hope they can bring you in for a brief visit or another beta to ease your fears.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you. How scary???
ReplyDeleteHopefully your RE can give you some answers.
Oh no! I hope everything is ok. Please keep us posted and hang in there. I know it'll be alright.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so sorry that this is happening. I hope everything is ok (and feel pretty confident that it is). hang in there and keep us posted....
ReplyDeleteHow scary! I'm glad the spotting has stopped...and hopefully for good. Fingers crossed that everything is OK!!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you!~
ReplyDeleteThinking of you. I would say that spotting can be normal, but I know that doesn't mean much if you've previously lost. So instead, all I can say is stay strong and take it one day at a time. Hoping for the best. Hang in there!
ReplyDeletePlease know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Crossing my fingers, toes, and eyes that this works out.
ReplyDeletei hate that infertility robs us of having a worry free pregnancy too. hugs and i'm hoping that this is simply just normal spotting in any pregnancy :-)
ReplyDeleteHugs to you. I will be thinking positive thoughts for you!
ReplyDeleteOh girl so sorry your going through this crap:((( I know you already know tis but if its brown its old...could be from suppositories or from implantation....If I was you I would ask for another Beta because the 24th seems so far away...Will be keeping you in my prayers
ReplyDeleteOh, crap. Just having to even think about this is far too stressful!! I, like many others, had some spotting early on - just before the 1st u/s - and everything ended up being just fine. I hope that it's the same for you!! It really IS common, even if that's little comfort. HUGS
ReplyDelete1st of all I am so far behind, so Congrats!
ReplyDelete2nd, I've also had some spotting, it seems to be mostly pink or brown and very light (tmi sorry).
My RE said its totally normal esp. with progesterone supps.
FX everything is ok! *hugs*
oh no, hope it's ok. You could get your betas checked to make sure they're doubling, but then you already know that!
