14w2d

I finally broke down and called the OB for some anti-nausea meds. I have been puking every day for the last two weeks. Some days I only puke once but the other days it can be 10 + times. I need to feel better and eat a normal meal. All I can keep down right now are carbs. I am a little surprised that I still feel like this. I guess everyone is different and I will continue to feel crappy for a couple more weeks. I do smile everyday at the fact that I feel so crappy. Everyone says it’s a sign of a healthy baby and that is all I really want!

I am starting to pop out a bit…I had to tell everyone at work because there was no more hiding it! It’s a relief that they all know. The ladies in my office have been really sweet and keep asking if I need anything…the guys barley notice so that is good!

I noticed I lost a couple followers this week. I totally understand! I have been on the other side for many years and stopped following many blogs when they got their BFP. I pray every day for my IF blog friends and that they all get BFP soon.

I’m off to Costco to get my meds! I hope everyone is having a fabulous day!

  3. I hope the meds work for you. A friend of mine had the same problem where all she could keep down were carbs. Hopefully this will pass!

HOORAY! for outing yourself at work. I told my boss yesterday where I'm at. She gave me a big hug and said this was just between her and me! I needed to let her know because it might affect which patients I can care for.

Thanks for the boost on losing a couple of followers. At least I'm not alone in sending people packing!

    Feel better soon!

  5. I'm sorry to hear you have the dreaded morning sickness :-( I felt the same as you - happy to be pregnant but miserably ill. It isn't nice and it's ok to ask for help. I lived on cheeseburgers and chips for the first 16 weeks! I also lost followers when I became pregnant but like you I totally understood how hard it can be and gained new followers as time went on. YAY for 14 weeks!!

  12. I am so sorry that the morning sickness is continuing. Hopefully it will go away soon and you will be able to keep food down without the anti nausea meds.

And congrats on making it to 14 weeks! Hooray!

Can't wait to see some belly pics. It is amazing, once you "pop", there will be weeks you will swear your size doubled!

  13. Happy 14 weeks!!!
It is so nice to have to stop hiding it, isn't it?
I hope you feel better soon and that the meds help.
I am 17 weeks and still getting sick at least once a day, but it is a good reminder that there is still a baby in there, but god it does suck.

  14. i got nervous when my nausea went away suddenly one day. made me wish that i hadn't complained to myself about it so much, hahah. but that only lasted a few days before i was relieved that i felt so much better :o) hopefully, your days of puking are numbered and you'll feel better very soon!! yaay for 2T!!

  16. SO glad you got some meds. What did you get Zofran? Hopefully it will work for you. Everyone always said it should go away after the first trimester but mine didn't go away till about the 3rd and then the heartburn set in. I hope that doesn't happen to you. I've heard an old wives tale that if you have more nausea it means it's a girl. With mine it rained true.

  18. Thrilled for you. Apparently water with lemon helps with nausea. I also ate the nausea candy...worked well. Hopefully you will feel better soon.
